Five years ago, the first Dutch Social Impact Bond was launched: Buzinezzclub Rotterdam.<\/span> Eleven of these result-financing constructions followed, with Social Finance NL in many cases functioning as a link in the triangular relationship between financier, entrepreneur and government.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On the occasion of ‘5 years SIBs in Holland’ on April 1st, we made an overview of the eleven deals.<\/span> We collected data and interviewed parties involved about their experiences with the SIB: is everything going according to plan?<\/span> Are results already measurable?<\/span> What could be improverd?<\/span> Based on the conclusions drawn, we formulated a number of recommendations to enable us to use the instrument even better.<\/span> We handed the first copy to State Secretary for Social Affairs and Employment, Tamara van Ark.<\/span><\/p>\n
