BIOGRAPHY


She develops business ecosystems around challenging problems such as a healthy society, the circular economy and financial fraud. In her research she works with big data analyses and collective intelligence. Using her self-named ‘interactive strategic innovation’ style she works interactively with organisations on strategy, innovation and process transformation. She works on a broad basis in order to make optimum use of the diversity of knowledge and information within the organisations in which she operates.

Annemieke has more than 25 years of experience as a director and supervisory director at numerous companies and social organisations. She is currently a member of the Supervisory Boards of ABN AMRO, KLM and Abbot Healthcare Products. She is chair of the PGGM Advisory Board for Responsible Investment and a member of the Advisory Board of CPI Governance.

She is a professor of Strategy and Transformation Management at Nyenrode Business University. Before that she held the Technology and Economics chair at Nyenrode Business University. Between 1994 and 2002 she was simultaneously professor of Management of Complexities at the University of Amsterdam and held the Wibaut Chair for Metropolitan Issues. In her company MeetingMoreMinds, she develops strategy trajectories around pressing issues based on network principles. As co-initiator of XL-Labs she designs ecosystems to work with multi-parties on transformations.
